The building dates back to the 16th century and was formerly a hotel before being converted into a care home. Wheatsheaf Court Care Home specialises in nursing care and nursing care with dementia, and with our team of well-trained staff on hand 24-hours a day, you can be sure that your loved ones are in safe hands.

Wheatsheaf Court Care Home comprises of 52 bedrooms and accommodates male and female residents. The home has three main floors, each with both communal and quiet areas where residents can choose to interact with others or enjoy some ‘quiet’ time. With the secure inner courtyard and enclosed front garden with a patio, residents can also enjoy the outdoors in a private setting.

A range of daily meals are provided that cater to individual needs and visitors are welcome to dine with us. We also organise a number of activities that residents are welcome to join in on, as well as regular trips out such as to the nearby parks and the local cafe.
